Concluding Remarks

Behavioural and cognitive economics share various elements, the most important of which is the work of Simon. The evolution of behavioural economics can explain the ambiguities between (new) behavioural and cognitive economics. “Old” behavioural economics seems to be more similar to cognitive than to “new” behavioural economics. Consequently, the analogy between behavioural and cognitive economics is better referred to the old behavioural economics than the new.
