Concluding Remarks
A lot more could be said and several other important German and Austrian economists, such as Christian Jakob Kraus, Heinrich Friedrich von Storch, Hans Mayer, Oskar Morgenstern, Gottfried Haberler and Fritz Machlup, would deserve to be dealt with.
Space constraints do not allow this. The reader is asked to consult the works cited in this entry. Chipman (2013) contains excerpts translated into English of important contributions to the German use value school. Kirzner (1994) provides an anthology of some of the writings of Austrian economists. Boettke (1994) contains short essays on basically all themes in Austrian economics and the latter’s relationship with other schools of thought.Heinz D. Kurz
